Stage 1 - Mountain Biking: 23 km
Start at via duct in Kells follow access road to forest then follow fire roads to Kerry way follow Kerry way all the way to the N70, turn right to Letter East head for Ballynakilly Lower from here head for Glenbeigh. Before Glenbeigh turn right following signs for Kerry Way follow this up to Windy Gap, through the gates and around the Kerry Way to the bike/run transition 1 at Treanmanagh.
Stage 2 - Hillrunning: 17 km
From start head to Seefin (CP 1) then to the Windy Gap head for spot height 414 (CP2), down to the col (CP3) then head accross the ridge to Beenreagh (CP4) head down to spot height 408 (CP5) then continue down to valley floor at Creeveen follow out this track to the road turn Left and continue on this road to the run/canoe transition 2 at Caragh Lake.
Stage 3 - Canoeing: 3.5 km
You will be using double, Open Canadian style canoes for this stage so your time will pause until you are assigned a canoeing partner. When you are both ready your time will start again as you head across the lake towards Sugarloaf Island, pass this island and continue along the shoreline transition 3.
Stage 4 - Run to Finish: 0.5 km
Leaving your canoes you must follow the path up the short steep track up to the finish at Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre.

Stage 1 - Mountain Biking: 8.5 km
Start just past the Church in Glenbeigh turn left and then right following signs for Kerry Way follow this up to Windy Gap, through the gates and around the Kerry Way to the bike/run transition at Treanmanagh.
Stage 2 - Hillrunning: 11 km
From start head to Seefin (CP1) then to the Windy Gap head for spot height 414 (CP2) then head down to spot height 342 (CP3) and down to valley floor at Coomavoon follow out this track to forest barrier take the forest track to the right and follow this to the end, turn right and follow this road to school, now turn left and follow this road to the run/canoe transition 2.
Stage 3 - Canoeing: 3.5 km
You will be using double, Open Canadian style canoes for this stage so your time will pause until you are assigned a canoeing partner. When you are both ready your time will start again as you head across the lake towards Sugarloaf Island, pass this island and continue along the shore line to transition 3.
Stage 4 - Run to Finish: 0.5km
Leaving your canoes you must follow the path up the short steep track up to the finish at Cappanalea Outdoor Education Centre.

Stage 1 - Canoeing: 3.5km
You will be using double, Open Canadian style canoes for this stage so your time will pause until you are assigned a canoeing partner. When you are both ready your time will start again as you head across the lake towards Sugarloaf Island, pass this island and continue along the shore line to transition 1.
Stage 2 - Hillrunning: 11 km
Follow the road passing the old school take the road to the right up along the Kerry Way to the forest. at the forest take a left and follow this track into the barrier, at the barrier take a left and head into Coomavoon head for the spot height 342 (CP3). Travelling uphill to the next spot height 414 (CP2) from here to the Windy Gap and uphill all the way to Seefin (CP1). From here head downhill towards the track and follow the track down to the crossroads for the run/cycle transition 2.
Stage 3 - Road Cycle: 21 km
From run/cycle transition head North downhill towards N70. After approximately 1km take hairpen right, now head for Caragh Lake follow along NW shore of Caragh Lake over Blackstones Bridge. Follow main road to (CP4) turn left uphill and right at the next junction. Continue uphill, take the left at the junction to finish at Cappanalea Centre, proceed with extereme caution downhill to centre.
